Job Description:

As a Stock Hand at Dowse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' kitchens and hospitality businesses. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inventory Management: Efficiently manage inventory, tracking supplies, restocking ingredients, and notifying the kitchen team when supplies are running low.

• Organization: Maintain an organized storage system, ensuring that ingredients are easily accessible, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency.

• Assist Kitchen Team: Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring they have everything they need, when they need it, for seamless food preparation.

• Inventory Documentation: Keep accurate records of inventory levels and assist with inventory audits as required.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that ingredients are stored appropriately and meet quality standards.

• Adherence to Safety and Hygiene: Follow strict safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in stock management or a similar role is a plus but not required.

• A strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

• A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing requirements.
